Zoe & Jane – Founders of The Hub CIC

Whilst working for Wigan Council Zoe & Jane saw a gap in services offering support to over 50’s in the Wigan And Leigh Area.

Initially based from Astley & Tyldesley Methodist Church back in 2016, the organisation quickly outgrew the venue and sought a larger room within the community. 

After a ring around to community centres we identified a great space within Higher Folds where we lived from 2017 until 2022. We made many great friends along the way here.

Today we have a new forever home with the same building as Little Rainbows 2 Nursery on East Bold Street in Leigh. This location offers greater transport links for our users and a dedicated facility of our own. Be sure to pop in anytime for a brew.
